Geoff Still
Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Geoff Still is responsible for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s financial functions and operations, including financial reporting, investment strategies, human resources, and information technology.
Geoff joined the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in 2020 from The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS), where he served as TABS’ Vice President, Finance & Operations and the Vice President of TABS Insurance, Inc., a fully-owned captive insurance company of TABS. He spent 21 years working in university and independent school administration and teaching.
Geoff’s professional and scholarly interests also include sound financial management, captive insurance management, educational leadership, enrollment management, risk assessment and mitigation, and education law. He has authored articles published by the National Business Officer Association’s NetAssets magazine and Captive International.
He serves on various boards including TABS Insurance, Inc; Calvary Chapel University (Chair), Youth Development Incorporated and is on the conference committee for the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association. Geoff created and authored the curriculum for the Master of Science in Education Law, a master’s degree for non-lawyer educators offered by Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law.
Geoff earned his BS in Accounting, Master of Accounting and Juris Doctor degrees from Nova Southeastern University. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his wife, Stacy, and four children: Geoffrey, Elochukwu, Emilie and David. Elochukwu, who goes by “Eze,” is a brain cancer survivor who plays Division 1 basketball at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville on an athletic scholarship. Geoff enjoys doing anything with family, basketball and traveling. Geoff has coached high school and middle school basketball and track-and-field.
