Jacob Ellen

Jacob Ellen is a third-year medical student at Harvard Medical School. Prior to attending medical school, Jacob studied neuroscience at Middlebury College and completed a health data science master’s program at University College London, developing a strong interest in how data can advance cancer research. He has worked closely with and led the research efforts of OurBrainBank, a patient-led organization for glioblastoma patients, since 2018. During college, Jacob also founded a nonprofit to raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research (One Life) and more recently served on a committee led by the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to incorporate pediatric-specific cancer language into the New York State Cancer Plan.
