Andrea Ward

Philanthropy Officer

Andrea Ward is a Philanthropy Officer at the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF), where she leverages over 15 years of experience in major gifts, donor relations, and special events across the Houston area. In her current role, Andrea focuses on developing donor engagement strategies, cultivating meaningful relationships, and managing a prospect pipeline to advance PBTF’s mission.

Throughout her career, Andrea has successfully raised funds for organizations in education, healthcare, and the arts, including the University of Houston, Houston Grand Opera, Be The Match Foundation, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Andrea’s strength lies in connecting supporters with causes that inspire them, fostering long-term impact through thoughtful, relationship-based fundraising. She believes successful fundraising goes beyond securing gifts—it’s about building relationships so meaningful that donors feel compelled to philanthropically support the mission even before they are asked!

Andrea lives in Houston, TX, with her husband, daughter, and their spoiled black cat, Professor Paw-Paw. A proud alumna of the University of Houston, she enjoys cheering on the Cougars with her family.
