Michael Henry
Director of Advocacy

Mike Henry is the Director of Advocacy at the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). His most important role, however, was as caregiver to his daughter Blair, who passed away from brain cancer in 2020 at the age of 3. That profound loss fueled his dedication to supporting families like his and advocating to make childhood brain cancer a national priority.
At PBTF, Mike has been inspired by the extraordinary individuals he meets—parents honoring their children’s memories, survivors managing complex side effects, and siblings advocating for their brothers and sisters. These connections deepen his commitment to improving outcomes for families affected by this devastating disease.
Before joining PBTF, Mike honed his expertise in policy and fundraising via work with several other mission-driven nonprofits.
A Pennsylvania State University graduate with a degree in corporate communications, Mike lives outside Philadelphia with his wife and son. He remains deeply committed to honoring Blair’s memory through his work with PBTF.
