Tanner Zachem

Tanner is an MD/PhD student at Duke University in the Brain Tool Lab and Goodwin Lab focused on developing new intraoperative tools and robotic systems to make tumor resection more informed and effective. His main project is the development and clinical translation of an intraoperative dye-free laser-based tumor identification system for spot-by-spot identification of tumorous vs. normal tissues during neurosurgery. Tanner was born and raised in New York and is excited to work alongside the Next-Gen team.
