Brain Tumor Tissue Donation

Although tissue donation can be a difficult topic for parents to talk about, donating your child's brain tumor tissue can help researchers learn more about why some tumors don’t respond to treatment and how to prevent that in the future.

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation works closely with Gift from a Child’s tissue donation navigation program to support families who are considering donating their child’s brain tumor tissue.

In our on-demand webinar, Tissue Donation: Your Most Pressing Questions Answered, Gift from a Child’s Patti Gustafson and Ginny McLean and Dr. David Kram, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine, discuss why pediatric brain tumor tissue donation is critical to future treatment breakthroughs and the process for choosing post-mortem tissue donation.
