Cancer Gets Lost’s Online Charity Auction of Rare and Signed LOST Memorabilia to Benefit Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

Cancer Gets Lost (CGL) has selected the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation as the benefiting charity for their 2024 LOST charity auction taking place online May 11-18 in recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness Month.

In 2004, LOST crashed onto TV screens and into fans’ hearts. When the series ended in 2010, friends Jo Garfein and Jared Wong were looking for a way to stay connected with one another and other friends across LOST’s fandom. Inspired by their friend Jackie, who passed away from brain cancer, they founded the nonprofit Cancer Gets Lost, which has raised over $375,000 for various cancer charities.

“We Have to Go Back.” Celebrating LOST’s 20th Anniversary

This year’s Cancer Gets Lost auction will honor Jackie’s life and celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary by auctioning rare and signed LOST memorabilia kindly donated by fans, cast, crew, and creatives, as well as rare collectibles from Bad Robot and other projects LOST cast members have worked on.

Some standout items in this year’s auction include an authentic script donated, annotated, and signed by Michael Emerson alongside Evangeline Lilly and composer Michael Giacchino; a 20th anniversary Getting LOST Documentary package that includes custom-made, iconic items from the show; and an exclusive cast/crew yearbook signed by four members of the cast.

You can place your bid on these and other items between May 11th at 10:15 a.m. ET and May 18th at 1 p.m. ET. Pre-registration is now open here.

100% of the proceeds from this year’s auction will go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, funding research and family support for children with brain tumors, the most commonly diagnosed and deadliest childhood cancer in the United States.

As May 11th fast approaches and excitement builds, LOST fans can prepare for the auction by pre-registering.

Not into LOST? You can still make a difference by sharing Cancer Gets Lost’s auction blog post with the people in your life who are fans and encouraging them to participate.

Join us as we chart a course toward a future free of pediatric brain tumors. Together, we will create a world where all children with brain tumors can dream big and live a life without limits.
