Larry Little**

Secretary | Retired, North Carolina

Now retired, Little enjoyed a long career in the motorcycle and powersports industry in a variety of sales, marketing and management roles.  The majority of time was at Cycle World, the world’s largest motorcycle magazine brand where he led the business unit as publisher and chief brand officer.  A life-long motorcycle enthusiast he was able to combine his avocation with his vocation.  After nearly 30 years at Cycle World he left and consulted on and then helped launch a new trade show for the industry in 2013, the American International Motorcycle Expo.  When it was acquired in 2015 by the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), the industry’s trade association, he became VP/General Manager of the show and retired in 2020.

Little was also an enthusiast of the industry and devoted more than 20 years as an elected industry representative to the MIC’s board of directors, serving 10 years as its chairman.  Following a long relationship with PBTF founders Mike and Dianne Traynor, and fund-raising for the Ride for Kids platform, he was recruited to join the PBTF Board in 2004, and served three years as board chair.

Having met a number of Star families over the years, Little’s passion for the kids remains strong, and he is genuinely excited by the PBTF’s vision for growth to make a larger impact on the mission of finding the cause and cure of brain tumors in kids, and helping them thrive.
