Tyler is the founder and the Managing Partner of Town Lane overseeing all aspects of the business.
Prior to founding Town Lane Tyler spent 19 years at Blackstone (2004-2023) where he was a partner and Head of Strategic Investments for Blackstone Real Estate Americas and Head of Real Estate Acquisitions Americas and was a member of Blackstone’s Global Real Estate Investment Committee. As the Co-Head and Head of Real Estate Acquisitions Americas Tyler helped oversee $88 billion of equity deployed. Tyler previously served as a board member of QTS Realty Trust, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Extended Stay America, IMC, Hilton Worldwide, Park Hotels and La Quinta. When not focusing on real estate, Tyler does his best to keep up with his wife Courtney and their three little girls.
Tyler received a B.S. in Commerce from The McIntire School at the University of Virginia. In addition to serving on the board of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation he also serves on the board of the Jefferson Foundation at UVA.
