On-Demand Webinar

Pediatric Low-Grade Glioma Community Webinar

On February 23, 2024, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation will host an Externally-Led Patient-Focused Drug Development meeting about pediatric low-grade glioma.

In the below video, Hyman, Phelps & McNamara’s Larry Bauer and James Valentine, who have helped ensure patient voices are heard by the FDA in three-fourths of all EL-PFDD meetings, share a preview of the meeting and answer patient families’ questions.

With new pediatric low-grade glioma treatments under development and review, the upcoming EL-PFDD is a unique opportunity for patients, survivors, families, and caregivers to share their experiences directly with the FDA, pharmaceutical industry, and other stakeholders in drug development.

Watch the above recording to learn more about the EL-PFDD meeting, including:

  • The phases of drug development and the FDA’s role at each step
  • How the FDA incorporates patient and caregiver voices into their review of new clinical trials and medical products
  • The significance of this meeting for the pLGG community
  • Ways the pLGG community can participate in the EL-PFDD meeting and contribute to its success
