Geoff Still

Interim Executive Director

Geoff Still is the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Interim Chief Executive Officer. He oversees the organization’s operations, finance, and administrative functions, including budgeting, investments, human resources, marketing, IT, and logistics. With over three decades of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, Geoff brings strategic leadership and sound financial management to advancing PBTF’s mission. He has devoted his career to the nonprofit sector with the belief that good people can accomplish good things.

Before joining PBTF in 2020, Geoff served as Vice President of Finance and Operations at The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) and Vice President of TABS Insurance, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of TABS. His career includes teaching and working in university and independent school administration, authoring articles on financial and risk management, and developing graduate-level curriculum in education law. Geoff has also served on numerous corporate, nonprofit, and education boards.

For Geoff, PBTF’s mission is profoundly personal. In 2016, his then-17-year-old son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Following successful surgery and extensive therapy, his son recovered and earned a scholarship to play college basketball. Geoff’s firsthand experience navigating this challenge deeply shaped his commitment to ensuring that no other family faces a similar experience alone—or, one day, at all.

Making a difference for children and their families is why Geoff gets out of bed every day. During his time with PBTF, his focus has been on assembling a team of great people to work together in order to accomplish incredible things.

Geoff earned his BS in Accounting, Master of Accounting, and Juris Doctor degrees from Nova Southeastern University. He and his wife, who are parents to five children, live in Asheville, NC. In his free time, Geoff enjoys doing anything with family, traveling, and coaching. Over the years, he has coached high school, middle school, and AAU basketball as well as track and field.
