Sibling Space Art Support Group

Siblings of children with brain cancer often struggle with a lot of difficult emotions. Giving your child a space to openly share their feelings can help them grapple with the changes happening in their lives.

Sibling Space, our online art support program, offers a safe and creative environment where children and teens affected by a sibling’s brain tumor diagnosis can connect and find support. Facilitated by PBTF’s on-staff child life specialist and an artist educator experienced in working with families impacted by childhood cancer, Sibling Space groups meet monthly to explore topics like mindfulness, self-reflection, and self-advocacy through various art materials and projects.

  • Children ages 6-8 meet the first Wednesday of every month from 6-7 p.m. ET
  • Children ages 9-12 meet the first Wednesday of every month from 7-8 p.m. ET
  • Teens ages 13-17 meet the first Thursday of every month from 7-8 p.m. ET

Sessions will be held monthly through November 2024, and children can attend all or some of the sessions.  Have questions or need immediate support? Email our team at [email protected].

Register your child below to receive a special package of art supplies before their first session.
