Survivor Support Groups
When treatment for a pediatric brain tumor ends, the journey has only just begun. The effects often last into young adulthood and beyond, impacting relationships with families and friends, success in school and jobs, and long-term emotional well-being and mental health. But there is hope. Finding a supportive environment can empower survivors on their personal journeys.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s new Survivor Support Group offers an online experience specifically designed for pediatric brain tumor survivors. This is a place for survivors to meet others who understand what they’re going through, share stories, and empower one another. Our goal is to help survivors navigate the unique emotional and social challenges that come after treatment.
