Peer-to-Peer Mentoring

The Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program matches parents, caregivers, survivors, and siblings with mentors who have experienced similar challenges in their journeys, providing much-needed personal connection.

Families of children diagnosed with brain cancer may have questions about the journey, experience feelings of isolation, or are looking for meaningful connection in a difficult time. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program matches parents and caregivers, as well as young adult patients, survivors, and siblings, with trained mentors who have experienced the challenges of a childhood brain tumor diagnosis. Bereaved family members seeking mentorship will be matched with mentors who have also experienced the loss of a child to a brain tumor.

Mentors provide one on one support, resources relevant to the journey, and a safe space for family members to discuss their journeys. Whether you are interested in receiving mentorship or being trained to provide mentorship, complete the following form and a member of the Family Support team will contact you to provide additional information and next steps.
